WWF Footprint Calculator

http://footprint.wwf.org.uk/

''Worried about your impact on the environment? The way we use the planet's resources makes up our ecological footprint. Measuring yours takes less than 5 minutes and could set you on a life-changing journey...''

This handy tool helps you estimate what effect you are having on the environment. It could come in handy to track the progress you are making when you begin to make changes in your life.

It has a series of question that ask about food, travel, home and other stuff.

I took the survey considering the way I live in my flat with 5 others, whilst at university.
The outcome was:
''You're living as if we had 2.40 planets to support us but we only have one.''
''Your footprint is :

2.40 planets. We've also calculated your carbon footprint, which is 10.97 tonnes per annum''

I was surprised with the outcome as I didn't realise the extent of the damge I am making.
I think other peopel will be just as shocked, and it does encourage you to want to make changes in yourlife, once you actually realise how much you are contributing to the damage.

Ther site then goes on to give you tips on how to reduce your footprint, and track your progress
It also offers you a chance to sign up:
''By signing up, you can save your footprint calculation and take advantage of a variety of features to help lower your impact, such as:
Individual Changes
A footprint community
Challenge the Government
